Pura Calle returns this 2023 with the best bet of urban culture

The festival pure street, an artistic platform that is committed to the best of urban culture, returns this 2023 with a unique event for three days. The festival will take place from May 5 to 7 in the Parque de la Exposición, Lima.

In these three days of competitions and shows, the passion and effort of its protagonists will prevail, thus achieving greater international visibility for the participants and for the festival itself, since there is a proposal to carry out editions of Pura Calle in markets such as Colombia and Mexico. .

The project led by Vania Masías seeks to become a self-sustaining platform where hip hop culture is reflected and enhanced through street dance, freestyle and the presence of Peruvian bands that have achieved a great position among the community.

In the three days of the festival, various hip hop experiences will be lived, since dance competitions will be held in the disciplines of Hip Hop, House, Breaking BBoy and Bgirl, Locking, Popping, and Crew vs Crew with international juries.

There will also be Rap Battles with the competitors of the FMS and musical stars every night such as Gonzalo Genek, Panik Room, M2H among others. In addition, the BMX, Skate, Grafitti competitions and the valuable master classes with outstanding international teachers will be present.

It is worth mentioning that this year, based on the strategic alliances made with The World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF) and the Peruvian Sports Dance Federation, Pura Calle 2023 will serve as a selective for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the Breaking category.
