Los Fabulosos Cadillacs announce dates for their US tour.

The Argentine band of “ska latino” The Fabulous Cadillacs announced on Monday the dates of his tour in the United States, which starts on September 22 in the city of Houston and from there will jump to Los Angeles, Dallas, New York and Miami.

The tour, produced by Loud And Live and Move Concerts, with the exception of the gala in Los Angeles (September 24), will culminate on October 1 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, north of Miami, Florida.

This tour takes place after the band’s performance at the annual festival coachellawhich was highlighted by Billboard magazine as one of the “most memorable Latino moments” of the event, his public relations agency said in a statement.

The Argentine band has had collaborations with international icons such as Celia Cruz, Debbie Harry, Mick Jones and ruben bladesthe latter in Fabulosas Calavera, which made them winners of a Grammy in 1998 in the category of best rock/alternative performance.

In addition, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs was the first Argentine and Spanish-speaking group to participate in MTV Unplugged.

In their extensive musical career (the group was founded in 1984), Los Fabulosos Cadillacs has published such successful songs as “El Matador”, a samba that is part of the soundtracks of the films “Salvajes”, “Grosse Point Blank” and “The matador”.

Other songs from his discography are “Vasos Vacíos”, together with Celia Cruz; “Siguiendo La Luna” and “Mal Bicho”, the latter taken from his 1995 album “Rey Azúcar”, produced by Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, members of the Talking Heads group.

His latest studio album is titled “The Salvation of Solo and Juan” (2016).
