But finally the Sudanese Army sent a rectification in which it indicated that it was not the assistant defense attaché, but the deputy administrative attaché who perished for “rebel fire”, referring to the powerful paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (FAR).

The source indicated that the deceased “he was in a Fortuner model car with diplomatic license plate 132″, where he was shot, according to the Army.

The FAR They denied having killed the Egyptian and accused the Army of “plot accusations” for “breach” with the Sudanese population and countries “siblings” like Egypt.

Both forces were the architects of the joint coup that overthrew the transitional government of Sudan in October 2021.

Since the outbreak of the conflict, according to the account offered this Friday by the world organization of Health (WHO), more than 420 people have died and 3,700 have been injured in Sudan.
