After her first rehearsal on the stage of the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, the specialized press and the ‘eurofans’ have already positioned her as their favorite thanks to her staging and the presentation of the song “Eaea”, which paradoxically was not the first choice of the young woman to present at the festival.

As is known, Blanca Paloma proposed the song “Plumas de nácar”, of which she is also a composer, but the organizers of the Benidorm Fest pre-selection asked her to interpret “Eaea”, a song that will finally represent Spain in Eurovision and which was composed by Antón Serrats, Tomás Vigós and Pablo Serrano.

“It is a tribute to my roots, extols the legacy of love and knowledge transferred from generation to generation through the nana. Remember where I come from to know where I am going”explained Blanca Paloma in an interview for Radio Televisión Española (RTVE).

In this way, Blanca Paloma becomes the first artist to bring flamenco rhythm to Europe since the well-remembered “Quién maneja mi barca” (1983), which came last, tied at zero points with Turkey.

Blanca Paloma Ramos Baeza, known on the international art scene as Blanca Paloma, is a Spanish singer and set designer who was born in Elche in 1989. She studied at the Misteri d’Elx Institute and graduated in Fine Arts from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche. . Later, she moved to Madrid and developed her career as a set designer and theater costume designer.

The Spanish interpreter is known for having been part of the groups De mar a mar and Aflkay. She also participated in the Benidorm Fest 2022, which earned her to be the Spanish representative of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song “Eaea”.
