Flavia Laos no longer plans to grow in Peru: “I reached the top, my future is outside”

Since I was a child and starred in the video clips of “La hora warner”, Flavia Laos (Lima, 1997) knew that he would dedicate himself to music all his life. Temporarily away from acting and television scenarios, the artist launches “Real Bitch”, her fifth studio single through which she shows her artistic evolution and the horizon towards which she directs her career.

“It would be incredible to achieve the success of great artists like Maluma or Shakira. The fence is very high, but with what I’ve been doing, I don’t see it as far away”, he points out.

The new musical proposal of Laos Urbina was composed by the Venezuelan Colombian Itzza Primera, composer responsible for popular songs by artists such as: Maluma, María Becerra and Paty Cantú. The production was in charge of the Colombian Derbeat, and the mixing and mastering of the sound engineer Edwin Ferney, from Emporio Music Labs.

“This new job denotes that my experiences have not been in vain. They show me as a more self-confident woman, that she knows what she wants and where she wants to go.”, highlights the national artist after pointing out that a “Real Bitch”, like ‘bichota’, describes “an empowered womansomeone who does and says what they feel regardless of the opinion of others”.

The category winner Latino Influencer of the Year in the most recent edition of the People’s Choice Awards, She focuses her energies on pursuing her artistic dreams and avoids talking about her personal life and the rumors that her romance with Austin Palao, who was chosen Trending Artist at the 2023 Heat Awards, would have ended.

“This is a stage of growth. I’m doing what I always wanted to do. I am happy and very calm, dedicated one hundred percent to music. Within a year, I hope to have reached where I want to go: I would love to fill large stadiums in Peru and abroad. Make tours in Argentina, Mexico or in other countries of the world”, he nods.

The artist, who has more than five million followers on Instagram and TikTok, also acknowledges that her work as an influencer allowed her international recognition and reached a varied audience. “The trips helped me a lot to grow as an artist and increase my exposure. In Miami they know me, also in Latin America. I am a singer and influencer, as well as an actress. i love everything i do”, assures the protagonist of tuned Peruvian fictions such as: “Come, dance, quinceañera”, “Los Vílchez”, I will find you again” and “Princesas”.

“I love acting. If something from HBO or Netflix were presented, a platform in which I have already entered (He was part of the fourth season of the reality show ‘Playing with Fire’), I would take it; but not something national because I think I’ve already reached the top in that market. In fact, there have been proposals to make movies and other things that I did not accept. They also called me to participate in video clips of super big artists, as happened with Wisin and Daddy Yankee, but I refused because I want to stand out with my own songs and continue growing artistically.”.

Finally, Laos assures that in this new and mature stage of his musical career, he will seek to fulfill a dream that he has had pending since he became passionately involved in the art world: collaborating with Argentines María Becerra, Tini or Emilia. “I love how they have led their career, how they have grown and always hold hands. I am excited to think that one day she will be able to record with them, ”she underlines.
