Mora and Farina lead the second edition of ‘Rompe Medellín’

The artists Blackberry, FarinaLee Eye, DJ Tornall, Jey Danny and DJ Cope will be in charge of leading the second edition of “Rompe Medellín”, one of the main reggaeton festivals in the country, which will take place for the second year in Medellin on October 20.

“This year the celebration of urban sounds returns to its capital, Medellín, with a wild lineup of artists”said this Friday in a statement Páramo Presents.

This second edition moves to the events center of La Macarena, which “will become the temple of perreo (…) when our bodies are absorbed by the frenzy of hits like ‘La inocente’, ‘Volando’, ‘Las nenas ‘, ‘A fuego’, ‘Poblado and ‘Macatraca’”, according to the producer.

The protagonist of this second edition of the “perreo sin culpa” is the Puerto Rican Gabriel Armando Mora Quintero or simply Mora, who “at 27 years old has forged a preponderant place among the multiverse of trap and reggaeton with three albums like ‘Primer día of classes’, ‘Microdose’ and ‘Paradise’”.

The Colombian quota is Farina, who has two Gold Records, two Latin Grammy nominations and six songs that have reached places in bill board.

In 2022 “Rompe Medellín” debuted in a “thunderous” way with the American rapper and singer Eladio Carrion together with Totoy El Frío, Flaca and Nath in a concert that brought together sounds such as trap, reggaeton and other urban genres and that had a similar edition in the Colombian capital, Bogotá.
