Mauro Lionel, the child prodigy of the piano, arrives at the Municipal Theater of Lima with his musical

Mauro Lionelthe youngest pianist, composer and conductor in our country at just 10 years old, announced his second acoustic concert for this Sunday, August 20 at 11 am in the Hall of Mirrors of the Municipal Theater of Lima.

In this musical, Mauro Lionel will present his album “Initiato”, a set of 15 original works that will be performed with chamber instruments (piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, bassoon and drums).

His passion for music led him to study piano from the age of 4. Two years later, he began to compose and narrated his first children’s short story “Different Kingdoms”, followed by other small musical productions.

His musical training has been developed since 2017 in piano classes by prominent musicians such as concert pianist Carlos Arancibia, Rafael Chiang and Cecilia Rodríguez, Workstation classes with Professor Juan Llauce, as well as Orchestral Conducting bases with maestro Gabriel Otzu. .

Since 2022, he studies the Extension courses in Composition and Musical Creation at the National University of Music, with teachers Daniel Sierra and Piero Bustos.

In the last 4 years, he has created remakes of well-known songs and has composed more than 70 pieces of different genres such as classical, rock, rhapsody, pop, easy listening, zen, among others, 30 of which are on his YouTube channel. “Mauro Lionel my piano and me”.

Now, Mauro Lionel will perform on Sunday, August 20, starting at 11 am in the Hall of Mirrors of the Municipal Theater of Lima, where he will perform 6 blocks, including a first classical work, classics I and II, as well as easy listening I. and II. He will end with the rhapsody that he composed at the age of 8 in homage to the El Olivar forest.
