Trump employee pleads not guilty in secret documents case

Together with the former president, his personal assistant, Waltine Nautaand the administrator of his farm Palm Beach, Carlos de Oliveira.

The latter appeared Tuesday in federal court in Fort Pierceabout 200 km north of Miami.

According to prosecutionDe Oliveira agreed with Trump and Nauta to delete images from a surveillance camera with valuable information for investigators.

Some facts for which the three have been accused of conspiracy to obstruct justice and alteration of evidence.

Nauta and De Oliveira also face charges of making false statements after they assured police they knew nothing about the documents kept by Trump at his residence in Florida.

The former president and Nauta have already pleaded not guilty in this case, but De Oliveira had not been able to do so because he did not have a local lawyer.
