María Becerra and Jhayco headline the Megaland festival poster in Bogotá

The Argentine singer Maria Becerra and the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist JhayCo (Jhay Cortez) are the first announced artists of the lineup that will have this year one of the most important urban music festivals in Colombia, the Megaland, which will be held on November 25 in Bogotá.

“We are excited to bring his incredible talent and energy to the heart of the event, and we can’t wait to share the musical extravagance that will also be a part of this big day.”indicated the director of the festival, Alejandro Villalobos.

Maria Becerra, a 22-year-old Argentine singer-songwriter, is one of the most influential female urban artists in the industry today.

The Argentine will go on the Colombian stage where great exponents of urban music such as Bad Bunny, Feid, Karol G or Maluma have performed, their hits “Corazón Vacío”, “La nena de Argentina”, “Automático” or “Adiós”, among others.

For his part, JhayCo (Jhay Cortez) of Puerto Rican origin, is promoting his most recent musical release, “Holanda”, published two weeks ago on digital platforms and already has more than 5 million views on YouTube.

With a career marked by collaborations with other artists of his genre, some of JhayCo’s most recognized songs are “Dákiti”, “Tarot”, “Memorias” and “512″.

The list of artists that will make up this music festival will be revealed little by little every Tuesday and Friday starting on August 15. In the last edition of Megaland, more than 50,000 people gathered under the Bogotá rain to sing the songs of Rauw Alejandro, Nicky Jam and Feid.
