Milett Figueroa returns to the theater as the star of the cabaret show “Pandemonium”

More and more new proposals for face-to-face shows are emerging in order to continue with the cultural reactivation, one of the sectors most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cirkus Live, company of circus shows, presents “Pandemonium”, the first cabaret show, written, produced and directed in Peru and starring Milett Figueroa.

This play is set in the IXX century and is a show that combines comedy, vaudeville, the sensuality of a nightclub. The star of this place is Cossette, a character played by Milett Figueroa, a character who leads a double life and he is the one who heads a cast of dancers, acrobats of pole dancing, tightrope walkers, contortionists and aerial acts.

The master of ceremonies and owner of the cabaret, a fun character played by the actor Andrés Díaz, in charge of carrying the common thread of the story, intertwining acting, live music, singers, dancers and juggling circus numbers, roller skates, pole dancing aerial, trapeze, contortionism, aerial girdles, among others.

Since the quarantine began, the former reality girl decided to take acting, singing and dancing workshops with Argentine and Colombian teachers, preparing to continue with her artistic career. He is currently recording for the television series “La Academia” and will launch a musical project in 2022. “Pandemonium” is a new challenge for her because in addition to acting, singing and dancing, she will perform a circus act.

This work has been written, directed and produced in Peru, being the first of its kind. The artistic direction is by Ken Berrospi, the costumes are in charge of the well-known designer Alex Segura. The chosen themes are reversions of Pop and Rock songs and stand out: “Sweet Dreams”, “Gimme More”, “Bad Romance”, “Let’s Get Loud”, and more, played and sung live by the Cirkus Live orchestra, conducted by Joseph Minaya.

The short season will be carried out, strictly complying with what is established: current allowed capacity, faithfully following the commitment of responsibility in the face of the sanitary crisis and the pertinent biosecurity measures. It should be noted that it is not allowed to eat food inside the tent.

“Pandemonium” It is presented from Wednesday, October 20 to Sunday, October 24, and there will be only eight functions at the following times: Wednesday at 7 pm, Thursday through Saturday at 7 pm and 9 pm and Sunday at 7:30 pm. the Arts of Jockey (Door 7 of Av.
