“Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka reaches the stage with a work directed by Francisco Cabrera

The literary work “Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka will take a theatrical turn starting next September 22 at the Ricardo Palma Cultural Center, with the new proposal directed by Francisco Cabrera along with a cast of great national artists.

For this staging, the director has brought together a luxury cast led by Sebastián Stimman, Diego Lombardi, Daniella Stornaiuolo, Edgard Arocena, and Vanessa Robbiano, in his long-awaited return to the Peruvian theater.

“Directing Kafka’s ‘Metamorphosis’ is a challenge that has filled me with emotion and expectations. This work is a world in itself, a deep dive into the mind of a brilliant author. The complexity of Kafka’s characters and the depth of his themes have inspired me to explore new dimensions of theater. “I look forward to sharing this experience with the public and taking them on an unforgettable journey.” commented Cabrera through a statement.

It should be noted that this will be his first foray as a director in a long-form work, which adds a new excitement to the production of “Metamorfosis” in the theater.

The short season will have 12 performances and will take place at the Ricardo Palma Cultural Center, Miraflores. The performances will be on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and on Sundays at 7 pm, starting Friday, September 22.

General tickets are available for S/50, while students and retirees can purchase them for S/30. Tickets are on sale through the Joinnus website.
