The National Ensemble of Folklorethe first representative group of Peru, will commemorate its 50th anniversary with a show at the Grand National Theater.
The artistic presentation will take place on October 21 at 8 p.m.. and will feature the participation of various generations of performers who have been part of the national group.
The event will be free with prior registration on the Teleticket website, The registration form will be available starting Thursday, October 19 at 11 am. The presentation will take place in the Main Hall of the Grand National Theater
Fragments of the repertoire of dances, music and performances that the National Folklore Ensemble has spread in Peru and the world will be presented in the show.
The objective of the show is to revalue and recreate the historical memory of the National Folklore Ensemble, its valuable artistic legacy and its significance for the development of the culture and identity of our country, the organization indicated.
On the other hand, the artistic cast will present parts of the work carried out by its directors, ranging from its founder Victoria Santa Cruz to the present.
According to the Grand National Theater website, the minimum entry age is 5 years. Likewise, users will be able to book only 2 tickets maximum.
On the other hand, the theater doors will be open from 6:30 pm and reservations “will be released 10 minutes before the show starts.” The maximum capacity of the venue is 818 people.
