Natalia Lafourcade receives three Latin Grammy awards for her album “De todos las flores”

Three times awarded! The Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia Lafourcade I obtained triple recognition at the twenty-fourth edition of the Latin Grammy Awards 2023.

During the gala, which took place on Thursday, November 16 in the city of Seville (Spain), Lafourcade won three Latin Grammy Awards for his album “De todos las flores” in the categories of “Recording of the Year”, “Best singer-songwriter album” and “Best singer-songwriter song”.

In that sense, her colleagues, the singers Jorge Drexler and Julieta Venegas presented the Mexican artist’s trophies. In turn, Natalia published an extensive publication on social networks thanking her for her achievement.

“This is the most personal album I made at a time when I felt completely broken, I didn’t know where to start and music once again showed me its medicinal power”commented Lafourcade upon receiving the Academy’s distinctions.

Likewise, on her social networks, Natalia dedicated her gratitude to the team with which she produced her album, including the singer and producer Adan Jodorowsky, the sound engineer Gerardo “Jerry” Ordonez, the musician David Aguilar and others.

“I still don’t believe it and I want to say so many things at the same time that I can’t find the appropriate words. “It has been so much journey, so much work and the family is really big,” indicated the singer.

“Of all the flowers” ​​is an album that contains 12 songs, which are an introspective journey by Natalia Lafourcade. One of her songs was inspired by the Auzangate mountain, located in Cusco. Additionally, her album came with the publication of a podcast that recounted the details of the production of her songs.

“When I finished this album I was impressed by the level of intimacy it contained, and that was vertigo for me. A year after releasing it, I consider music my teacher and my boss,” said. “I have learned to connect with myself, with that part that I had forgotten”he added.

The twenty-fourth edition of the Latin Grammy Awards 2023 was held at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions in Seville.

The production of the event is in charge of RTVE and Univisión, on the other hand, the actresses Paz Vega and Roselyn Sánchez were responsible for hosting, as well as the singers Sebastián Yatra and Danna Paola.

Among the invited artists are Rosalía, Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Pablo Alborán, Laura Pausini among others, the latter was recognized as Person of the Year 2023.
