Featherweight is renewed with the release of its song “Rompe la Dompe”

The Mexican Featherweight He published the single ‘Rompe La Dompe’, the last one that the performer releases in 2023 and in which his compatriots Junior H and Óscar Maydon collaborate.

In this “corrido” the trio fuses traditional sounds with modern lyrics and recounts a night of partying drinking bottles of Dom Pérignon, which the singers refer to as “Rompe La Dompe.”

“Peso Pluma continues to demonstrate his impeccable versatility while dominating the musical landscape in multiple genres, fusing sounds and delivering infectious lyrics,” its representative office in the United States said in a statement.

A sort of ode to “indulgence, desire and escapism,” the lyrics of the song immerse themselves “in the euphoric feelings of living life to the fullest, enjoying the pleasures of freedom and the joy of fleeting encounters,” adds the release.

The song, published on Thursday night, marks the close of an unbeatable year for Peso Pluma, during which he was crowned the big winner of the Latin Billboard awards by accumulating eight awards.

His album ‘Génesis’ was the most prominent Mexican music release on music platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, and broke Bad Bunny’s record on the Hot Latin Songs chart with 25 simultaneous titles.

Peso Pluma recently released ‘Bellakeo’ alongside Brazilian Anitta, which is currently in the top 10 of Spotify’s Global Top 50 list.
