“Old Friends” presents an advance teaser and confirms its premiere in May

Fernando Villaranthe director behind the successful and remembered film “Old Friends” (2014)has revealed a preview of his new film “Viejas Amigas” (2024), which will hit national theaters on May 1.

This film brings together actresses Ana Cecilia Natteri, Haydee Cáceres, Milena Alva, Patricia Fraysinett, and features Jely Reátegui in leading roles. The film is presented as a reflection of friendship, the joy of living and the experience of growing old.

Pilar, Charito, Meche and Cristina are four dear friends who love timba and lonchecito who meet every weekend. When they discover that one of them is facing a battle with cancer, they decide to carry out a rescue plan, determined to prevent the disease from taking her away.

And that, three of them are forced to kidnap their friend from the clinic to embark on a trip to the north full of adventures, and with absolute faith in the miracles of the Virgin of La Puerta in Otuzco.
