Prince William thanks his family for their messages after King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis

He Prince Williamheir to the British crown, thanked this Wednesday for the “kind messages” that the royal family has received after the King Charles III was diagnosed with an unspecified cancer.

“We really appreciate everyone’s kind messages. Thanks”said briefly the Prince of Wales upon arriving at a gala in Air Ambulance Service, in central London.

The monarch’s eldest son had to take over some of his father’s official duties while undergoing sessions to treat cancer that was recently diagnosed during prostate enlargement surgery in a London hospital.

The monarch, however, continues to serve its specific state functionssuch as signing bills or weekly telephone contacts with the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak.

The heir to the throne also returned to work after suspending activities for a few weeks to take care of his wife, the princess. Catherineof the abdominal operation she underwent, but the details of which were not disclosed by the royal house.

William also looked after his three sons, the princes Jorge, Carlota and Luís.
