Actress Sigourney Weaver will receive the 2024 Goya International award for her lifetime achievement

The Spanish Film Academy announced that the American actress Sigourney Weaver74, will receive the 2024 Goya International award for his cinematographic career on February 10 in Valladolid, Spain.

Thus, in the 38th edition of the Goya Awards, the performer remembered for starring in the blockbuster Alien saga, giving life to Lieutenant Ripley, will be awarded at the awards.

Sigourney Weaver is an American actress who was born in New York in 1949. Her worldwide popularity grew after her participation in Alien 1979. He also participated in different productions such as Avatar, Ghostbusters, The Good House, Dreams of a writer in New York, We are all Jane and others.

The actress has been nominated for the Oscars three times, she also received the BAFTA award and the Golden Globe, as well as the 2016 Donostia award from the San Sebastian Festival. Susan Alexander Weaver is the real name of the actress, she studied at Stanford and Yale universities.
