The posthumous film of the Peruvian filmmaker Oscar Catacora will hit commercial cinemas this April 4, as confirmed by Tito Catacora, the director’s brother, on his social networks by sharing the film’s poster.
In this way, Yana-Wara, a film that won the award for Best Peruvian Film at the ULima 2023 Film Week and an honorable mention at the Lima Film Festival, will reach the mass audience when it premieres in theaters in Peru.
Although the locations of the theaters and times where the Catacora film will be screened are not yet known, it is expected to reach the majority of Peruvians.
