The reports, interviews and informative notes are a window to current events, a voice that guides us through the complex fabric of society. In this sense, the nineteenth edition of the Lights Awards recognizes excellence in the field of communication and commitment to quality content in the programs that accompany Peruvians daily in the subcategory of Best Journalistic Program.
Among the nominees in this subcategory of the Television section, we find “ATV Noticias: Juliana style”, hosted by Juliana Oxenford on ATV, which managed to captivate the audience with its fresh and direct approach. “Contracorriente”, directed by Augusto Thorndike in Willax, addresses controversial topics, challenging conventions; while “Punto final”, with Mónica Delta in Latina, stands out for its clear and concise style.
Other notable nominees are “Cuarto Poder”, hosted by Sol Carreño in América, a program recognized for its investigative rigor; “It is never too late”, with Fernando Vivas on RPP TV, which offers a space for reflection and analysis on the most relevant events of the day; “Eighth Commandment”, hosted by Jaime Chincha on Canal N, which stands out for its commitment to journalistic ethics. Finally, “Panorama”, with Mávila Huertas in Panamericana, completes the list of those selected to compete in this subcategory.
Through the content offered by these journalistic programs, the public can learn about the most relevant events in our society and understand more clearly the dynamics that occur in various areas of daily life. In recognition of this effort, we nominate them, but you choose who will win the 2023 Lights Award.
