“In the meeting held in his office, The Alianza Lima club showed its opposition to signing the act that provides for the closure of the popular stands for our club’s next home game” indicates the Victorian institution.
“The Alianza Lima club cannot be subject to sanctions for external acts within the framework of the celebration of a sporting event that was not organized by our institution, therefore, We reject any sanction that has a direct or indirect relationship with the regrets that occurred in the district of Santa Anita on February 17. The club strongly rejects any act of violence at sporting events.”he added.
Even, Alianza Lima considers that the University Sports Club “must assume responsibility for these events.” and is obliged to contribute to the investigations that the authorities have been conducting, since the people who would be involved in the events would be baristas or fans of said sports institution.”
Besides, requests Alberto Otárola for a meeting “in order to present to him the work we have been carrying out within the framework of carrying out sporting events” and “to send you our proposals in order to contribute to the eradication and punishment of sports violence in our country.”
