Almendra Gomelsky returns to musical theater after overcoming illness: “I must live to the fullest”

It’s back! The naturalized Peruvian actress Gomelsky Almond returns to the theaters with a new musical work in which she will star alongside Rebeca Escribens, Gianella Neyra and Katia Condos.

Gomelsky resumes his theatrical presentations after having left due to the skin cancer he suffered, fact that prevented him from developing his artistic activities on a regular basis.

Almendra will be part of the cast of “Planchando el despecho”, so she was happy about her imminent return to theatrical and musical acting. but he also talked about his new way of seeing life.

“What happened to me was, thank God, taken in time. I was always calm, but I do believe, now more than ever, that life is today, not tomorrow or later, it is now.”said.

After that, he added: “I always want to be aware of that, aware that I must live to the fullest, enjoy and leave a nice memory for the people I meet in life.”

At the same time, the actress also highlighted her friendship with Rebeca Escribens, who also suffered from a type of cancer. “Rebeca and I are always together, in the good times and the not so good times, it is what corresponds to the love we have for each other”he indicated.

At the end of January, the actress revealed that she was diagnosed with skin cancer, for which she underwent surgery, which was successful.

The new work that Almendra Gomelsky will perform is called “Planchando el despecho”, it will premiere at the Cúpula de las Artes de Surco. The performances of the musical work run from May 23 to June 29, 2024. Tickets are on sale on the Teleticket website.
