Oscar 2024: This was the emotional presentation of Matteo and Andrea Bocelli in the “In Memoriam”

The recent gala of the Oscar lived more than one emotional moment; However, the most anticipated was the In Memoriam that featured the iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who arrived accompanied by his son Matteo, with whom he sang a duet of the song “Con te Partiro.”

The Italian icon, who recently dazzled the Chilean public at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, captivated everyone with his performance alongside his son.

As is known, this year’s In Memoriam tribute recognized great artists who died, among them, the singer Tina Turner, the filmmaker William Friedkin and the actor Matthew Perry, remembered for giving life to ‘Chandler’ in “Friends”.

Actress Glenda Jack, winner of the three most important acting awards: the Emmy, Tony and Oscar, also appeared; Michael Gambon, remembered as ‘Albus Dumbledore’ from “Harry Potter”; or Glynis Johns, the mother of the “Mary Poppins” children.
