Aitana and Sebastián Yatra work together again in “Akureyri”

After the release of her album “Alpha”, the Spanish singer Aitana entered a period of musical silence, which ended with the recent premiere of “Akureyri”, his new collaboration with Sebastian Yatra. As is known, the artists would have resumed their love relationship and the collaboration would be proof of this.

The song was composed by the Spanish and the Colombian during a trip to Iceland. From the capital Reykjavík, the artists narrate the importance of returning to the place where one was happy regardless of the final destination, enjoying every minute, even if in the end you don’t get to see the northern lights.

“Akureyri” comes accompanied by a video clip, shot in analogue, directed by Felíx Bollaín and produced by Habemus Roma, which is reminiscent of the VHS videos that were used in the past to immortalize memories.

With cold landscapes and eternal roads, this video clip immortalizes all the moments of that road trip that many people have taken. In addition, it has some extra videos in the post-credits scenes that the artists recorded on their trip to Iceland last year.

It should be noted that Aitana is immersed in the plan to continue the Alpha Tour starting in June, with several dates scheduled in Europe. For his part, Sebastián Yatra aims to return to Latin America to perform shows in Mexico and Peru.
