“It is considered the first Latin American prickly pear to write a book. In addition, she appeared before the kings of Spain in 2011 and Pope Francis in 2018″he commented.

After that, he added: “Merits that have allowed them to be the only group of their kind that has obtained the license to use the “Peru Country Brand” from PromPerú,” indicated the legislative representative.”

For his part, Hugo Rovira, senior official of Congress, pointed out that the Morados, as Tuna is known artistically, have shown the world part of Peruvian culture and art, allowing their peers in Europe to know and play national music.

“This recognition is not only for us but for all the tunas in the country. We are committed to continuing to sow joy, art and music in Peru and the world,” said Manuel Barrera, musical director. He then complemented: “Long live the prickly pear! Long live the university! But, above all, long live Peru!”
