The musician Nestor Torres, winner of the Latin Grammy Award, comes to Lima to offer an intimate show where the public can enjoy jazz fusion, blues, pop and Latin jazz through his flute. The show will take place this Thursday, May 23 at the Cocodrilo Verde lounge bar.

Néstor Torres is a Puerto Rican musician who, in addition to having won the Latin Grammy in 2000 for his album “This side of Paradise”, has managed to make his music transcend borders throughout his career in jazz.

“This is my second show at Cocodrilo Verde and I remember the atmosphere, the warmth of the audience and I hope that this time it will be even better… For me it is very special to be able to share with all the attendees a unique set of songs; which I hope surprises everyone”, noted the musician.

In rhythms such as charanga and salsa, he has collaborated with artists such as: Joe Madrid, La Charanga América, El Conjunto Libre, Fausto Rey and Larry Harlow, Lita Branda & Melcochita, José Mangual Jr., Orquesta Novel, Larry Harlow, Batacumbele, Héctor Lavoe, Hansel and Raúl, Roberto Torres and Pepe Mora; among others.

As if that were not enough, he has contributed to Billy Ross, Brandford Marsalis, Carlos Averhoff, Chris Botti, Chuck Loeb, Dave Grusin, Gloria Estefan, Herbie Hancock, James Moody, Jimmy Smith, Jon Secada, Luciano Pavarotti and others.
