“Murderville”: watch the trailer for the Netflix series that laughs at Will Arnett

If we overlay the crime music to a scene where a character makes a fool of himself, voilà! We have a so-called drama, like “Murderville”. This made Netflix in the first preview of the black humor police series that stars Will Arnett (“Bojack Horseman” and “Arrested Development”), and thus promises to be a success in its premiere on February 3.

As a reality show, “Murderville” follows the path of detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett) in his search for the truth, a difficult task that will not be carried out alone. He will be accompanied by stars of the American show business to solve the crimes that are presented in each of the six episodes of the first season.

“These celebrities do not have a studied script”, “they do not know what is happening”, describes the trailer for “Murderville”. These are the invited actors to culminate in the supposedly criminal work Sharon Stone, Conan O’Brien, Marshawn Lynch, Kumail Nanjiani, Annie Murphy, among others who will use improvisation to bring their characters to life and work alongside Arnett.

The Netflix series is based on “Murder in Successville” which aired on BBC3 between 2015 and 2017, where the narrative is also unscripted for celebrities. In the other case, the creator and producer of “Murderville” is Krister Johnson (“Medical Police”), and Will Arnett is also an executive producer.
