Joe Biden gets lost in the White House gardens

” Where are we going ? asked the leader of the free world in the gardens of the White House, under the watchful eye of the cameras. This Monday, Joe Biden planted a tree with his wife, Jill, behind their presidential residence, in honor of 50 years of the work of the White House gardener. After this symbolic act, the President of the United States began to leave, but seemed lost for a moment.

He then turned to his collaborators with this question: “Where are we going? followed by “What if I wanted to go that way?” His staff then redirected him to his private quarters. At almost 80 years old (in November), the 46th president of the United States regularly seems confused, fueling accusations about his mental health. Last week, Joe Biden also seemed particularly lost after a speech in Pittsburgh. He spun around before hurriedly leaving the stage.

Dialogue with a deceased parliamentarian

The oldest occupant of the White House in the history of the country is regularly mocked by Republicans – in particular Donald Trump – who accuse him of being senile. His detractors point to his sometimes difficult speech, but Joe Biden has mentioned several times, from his campaign, his stuttering from which he suffered as a child. With each of the clumsiness of the American president, social networks ignite and evoke health problems.

At the end of September, the controversy had swelled. The Democrat had given a speech devoted to the fight against obesity and food insecurity. During this speech, he wondered about the absence of the former parliamentarian, Jackie Walorski, who was very committed to these subjects. But the former member of the House of Representatives died in August in a car accident, following which the president, who appeared to have forgotten her death, issued a statement. However, a comprehensive medical examination concluded last November that Joe Biden was “robust” and “fit” to perform his duties.
