A high school student in Besançon (Doubs), 17-year-old Melusine Marchand has just embarked on a particularly ambitious project: to write a book about her father, Gerard Marchand. This general practitioner from Luye and Rassy, ​​municipalities of Haute-Dou, died in November 2020 from the effects of Covid, a disease that he probably contracted during consultations.

Dr. Marchand was, of course, at the forefront of the fight against Covid. “At first he didn’t really believe it, he thought it was some kind of strong flu. But he knew right away when he caught it.
