Covid-19: anti-vaccination therapy pharmacist from Cholet hospital fired

Cancellation confirmed for Dr. Amin Umlil. The head of the pharmacovigilance department of the Cholet hospital center (Maine-et-Loire), who claimed to be an “observer” and “whistleblower” from his position against mandatory vaccination in the framework of the Covid-19 epidemic, was disavowed by the judge of urgent applications of the administrative court of Nantes.

He was accused of continuing to use the institutional blog of the Territorial Center for Independent Information and Pharmaceutical Opinions (TsNIAP) in the context of his dispute with the leadership, which allegedly “changed its mind about him” after being heard by parliamentarians. But his anti-vaccination stance on the hospital blog may have caused “confusion in the minds of the public in the midst of the Covid crisis,” according to the institution’s management.

Thus the facts had an “internal seriousness” and “repeated for several years (…) despite (…) various calls for order”, according to his hierarchy. Dr. Amin Umlil also gave a “broad response” to the case on the CTIAP blog and social media. “The highly polemical articles and remarks of Dr. Amlil are causing a big stir,” the hospital’s lawyer said.

“The threat hanging over the hospital center is especially strong from the supporters of the applicant, gathered in the Mauges Health Collective. Thus, the director of the hospital was compared to a “Nazi functionary”.
