For reference, the average erect penis size is 5.2 inches, with a girth of about 4.6 inches.

Matt Barr’s penis measures 11 inches, or 12 inches in a penis pump, with a girth of over 7.75 inches at its thickest point.

That puts him in the top 0.6% of the world’s population when it comes to the size of his penis – but the Cambridge-educated 40-year-old is tired of being fetishised.

Now he has written a book called “A Long Story: Living with One of the World’s Largest Penises” to dispel the myths and misconceptions surrounding the “benefits” of having a large penis.

“It’s something that people don’t see as a problem at all.” Either it’s a joke on a regular show, or it’s promoted pornographically. “It doesn’t illustrate the real concerns,” Matt tells Metro.co.uk.

Although the rhetoric surrounding a large penis equates it with masculinity, being impressive in bed and calling it a ‘gift’, Matt’s experiences do not largely correspond with this.

He was once excluded from a yoga class after being kicked out because his “bulge was a ‘distraction’.”

And it’s not just yoga that’s banned. Matt was kicked out of a hotel because he was “accused of having an erection in the public pool.”

Cycling is virtually impossible and although he could do it, diving with a wetsuit made him very unsafe.

Of course, his dating life has also been affected by his height. He says, “We both laugh about it now, but I once knocked out a girl and ended up giving her a concussion just by swinging it.”

“It was very gruesome at the time.”

But these anecdotes are the lighter parts of Matt’s life with a huge penis. The dark reality of being 35 centimeters tall has negative mental health consequences, a lack of medical ‘solutions’ and a not so ‘normal’ relationship with penetration.

Matt, who works in marketing, addresses this in his book, which has no release date yet but which he hopes will help challenge people’s preconceptions of being ‘well endowed’.

Matt says that even at the age of 12 he couldn’t cover his penis with both hands, and when he was about 15 and swimming lessons in Speedos were mandatory at school, he realized he was taller than average.

His size initially had a positive impact on his mental health. He says, “I had a ‘gift’ that many boys would kill for.” That was the consensus at the time, but it didn’t lead to the perfect life they imagined.

“I started to enjoy the attention, but that changed over time… It’s a lot harder.”

Matt finds it difficult to talk about his size and the issues surrounding it because people are quick to dismiss him.

He says, “It’s a real problem, but when you highlight it, people say, ‘You got a good deal.'” Not every moment of my life is affected by it, but in some ways – sometimes very seriously .

“Having to spend more on condoms and underwear is not the end of the world, but it is true.”

A brand called Manti makes good underwear for men with larger penises, but when it comes to pants, if they aren’t baggy, Matt says he ties his penis to his leg or “tucks it underneath like a drag queen.”

But there’s another side to discussing his problems that Matt shies away from. He explains: “I don’t want to make other men feel inferior by talking about it because it’s hard for me, but I’m sure the guy on the other extreme has it worse because there are so many of them. There are social and psychological problems.” stigmas.” is super small.

“In some ways you’re dealing with the same issues; You’re not dealing with a normal intrusive relationship and you’re never sure how the people you’re dating will react.

At one point, Matt seriously considered penis reduction surgery, but realized it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

“Firstly, the price is key: it costs £15,000,” says Matt. This is a big difference from penis enlargement surgery, which costs around £3,000 at best.

“It is not an operation that is performed often,” he adds. “It’s actually super rare.” It can lead to poor erectile function afterwards, it is visually unappealing because of the way it is excised – leaving stitches and scars – and it is a very hard decision.

“If I were in a long-term relationship, I would want this to be an option we could pursue, but there’s also the question of, ‘What if I get a discount and then meet someone who really likes this.’ Would that be so?’ [me] When [I] was big?’.’

Matt also explored non-surgical options. He says: “Because surgery was expensive and left permanent scars, I started looking for non-surgical solutions.”

“I was planning on self-medicating with testosterone blockers and anti-estrogen and fluid retention pills, but month after month it seemed like my size was actually increasing.”

“Out of desperation, I came across some audio files online that claim to promote ‘penis shrinkage’.”

“Although I didn’t have much hope, I thought some personal sessions with a hypnotist might be helpful, so I had four sessions with a specialist in London. Perhaps unsurprisingly it didn’t do much good, but I had to try.

When it comes to improving his mental health related to his body size, Matt says he struggles to find a therapist who is “suitable and qualified because it’s a niche subject.”

He also admits that he goes out less now because he’s older and it’s “less of a priority.”

Matt says of past relationships, “Ultimately, I vacillate between two extremes.” There are girls who fetishize me and treat me badly in some way, or who don’t like it [my size] not at all.’

Despite appearing in Channel 4’s documentary My Massive C**k, Matt hopes his book will be much more educational in tackling myths and reality, as well as the impact of a large penis on mental health.
