Pasta recipes: discover how to take advantage of this ingredient with three delicious preparations

Usually, if we review our pantry, the noodles are ingredients that are never lacking because of how practical they can be. From a simple recipe to prepare hearty and delicious cannelloni, to the tricks and steps to create one of the most iconic sauces: carbonara.

Fettuccine in shrimp sauce


  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1/2 kg. fettuccini
  • 1/2 kg. clean shrimp tails
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tz. White wine
  • salt and pepper


In a bowl, mix two tablespoons of oil with the parsley, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Boil the fettuccini in plenty of salted water. When al dente, remove from heat and drain. Mix the pasta with the sauce and reserve. Heat the rest of the oil over high heat and sauté the prawns for one minute. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute. Pour in the white wine and cook, stirring constantly, for 40 seconds. Pour the prawns over the fettuccini, mix and serve immediately.

Chicken and vegetable cannelloni


  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tz. chopped onion
  • 2 tz. tomato without skin or seeds, chopped
  • 4 tbsp. Chopped pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tzs. cooked chicken breast, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. cream cheese
  • 1/2 tz. cooked and chopped carrot
  • 1 tbsp. Dried oregano
  • 18 precooked cannelloni
  • 3/4 tz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • salt and pepper


Heat in a small pot, over medium heat, two tablespoons of olive oil, and brown the onion for four minutes. Blend the tomato with the pepper. Strain and pour into the pot, mix well. Add the bay leaf and sugar. Season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper, and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Separately, mix the chicken with the cream cheese, carrot, peas and oregano in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and stir. Grease a refractory container with the remaining olive oil. Using a small tablespoon, fill the cannelloni with the chicken and vegetable mixture. Arrange them in the container, pour over the tomato sauce and spread the mozzarella cheese. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. Remove from oven. Serve hot.

Fettuccine carbonara


  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 8 slices of smoked bacon, chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tz. milk cream
  • 1/2 kg. precooked fettuccine
  • salt and pepper


Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the bacon for five minutes. Put the fried bacon in a bowl and mix with the eggs, Parmesan cheese and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper. Put the noodles in a pan and mix with the previous preparation. Heat for one minute over low heat. serve.
