Chicken in pepper sauce: learn how to prepare this delicious dish and surprise your family

Hello! I share with you this delicious and easy chicken recipe in pepper sauce. Perfect to vary the menu and share a weekend with family or friends at home.

Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Then seal it in a heavy-bottomed pot with olive oil and vegetable oil. Remove and reserve. In the same pot add the onion, garlic, peppers, bay leaf and salt, cook over medium-high heat with vegetable oil, about 10 minutes (until the peppers are golden). Add the wine or broth and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Then remove the bay leaves and blend.

Immediately return the pepper sauce and sealed chicken to the pot and cook for 20 to 30 minutes. At the end add the heavy cream, nutmeg and cook for a few minutes. Off the heat, before serving, add the butter, optional for shine, and the almonds.

We accompany it with rice with corn and parsley.
