Frutaito and its unmissable proposal of fruit raspadillas

According to Andy Mark Peña Landeo, creator of this brand, it emerged in the summer of 2014 after deciding to change fields. “I was dedicated to something else, but entrepreneurship always caught my attention. So, I decided to bring courses of ice cream, raspadillas, syrups and other things. At that time I decided to go for raspadillas, but I wanted them to have a special touch,” says the owner of Frutaito to Advantage.

Little by little, she refined recipes and chose to use local fruits and herbs. For example, if it comes to syrups, we find options such as eucalyptus, muña mint, passion fruit, chamomile and lemon verbena. On the other hand, jellies combine sugar and pieces of fruits such as papaya, pineapple, strawberry and mango.

“We participated in Mistura and became known for our interesting proposal. Then, we decided to go for a location and we came here to Los Olivos, but at first it was a very summery proposal, focused on the scratch-offs that we offer,” says Andy.

For this reason, they decided to expand the menu and took advantage of the use of implements to create an experience suitable for the entire year. This is how they created Emolientito, which combines the traditional national drink with fruits and herbs, such as lucuma, aguaymanto, lemon verbena and mint, among others.

Recently, Fruity participated in the Peru gastronomic fair, Mucho Gusto, which was held again in the capital after 15 years. Precisely, it is in this space where we learned about the brand and were able to see the success of its proposal. “It helped us a lot to renew our clientele, more people began to know us,” she explains.

The Frozenteíto is another refreshing creation that is worth highlighting. Combine an ice smoothie with green tea and the syrups already mentioned. The soft flavor of the tea, the ice and the powerful flavors of the syrup combine perfectly and the option to personalize your drink is ideal. For adults, the Frutraguito combines the fruity raspadito with our flagship drink: pisco.

The experience is complemented with a wide variety of classic sandwiches and more creative ones. From the inevitable chicken sandwich to the chijaupan. The latter combines delicious crispy bread with a generous portion of fried chicken and the classic Chihaukay oyster sauce.

Fruity It is a perfect option to enjoy this season. Whether it’s to cool off with their scratch cakes, opt for their juices or perhaps enjoy their fruity emollient. You dare?
