La Lucha arrived in San Miguel: This is the new local sanguches criollos that serves 24 hours a day

We spoke with Miguel Huamán, Head of Quality at the company Lucha Partners. “The premises are a project made after carrying out a corresponding study. “La Lucha is a brand that already has spaces in different parts of Lima and we are focused on reaching the entire capital and Peru,” he explains.

As Huamán comments, the new location has 24-hour service, which implies its own challenges, assumed in the best way. “In this space we have to understand that people look for us because we are capable of always presenting the same flavor and quality, serving the public in this busy area,” adds the chef.

“In this area we are close to the Parque de las Leyendas, a point where families meet; On the other hand, students from schools, institutes and other entities are also looking for an offer for themselves,” says the brand spokesperson.

What’s the point of La Lucha?

This sandwich shop is recognized for rescuing flavors of traditional sandwiches, respecting classic recipes and long cooking processes. Thus, we find options such as the inevitable pork crackling with fried sweet potato and Creole sarsa or the wood-fired turkey or suckling pig, with house tartar. The shredded chicken is served with lettuce and tomato, while the Preferido combines juicy roast beef with cheddar cheese.

Other versions include grilled chicken, ham and scrambled eggs, hamburger, roast beef or the simple and endearing complete mix, based on ham, cheese and egg.

Without a doubt, the huayro fries offered by La Lucha are some of the best you can find. Very crunchy and soft on the inside, they are the perfect complement to any of the sandwiches. They go perfectly with the wide variety of sauces that La Lucha offers.

Another specialty is juices and drinks, which include classic options such as fruit juices or combinations thereof. There are also creamy ones, which combine fruits with milk, or frozen ones. A good idea is to try emollients, which are combined with flavors such as pineapple, passion fruit, mint or orange.

In which countries is La Lucha located?

The La Lucha sanguchería, close to celebrating 15 years of creation, has stores in Peru, Colombia, Chile and, currently, they are preparing everything to open a space in Mexico.

In Peru they have 11 stores in Lima, while in Trujillo and Arequipa, they have two stores in each province.

In Bogotá they have three locations. Finally, in Chile, they are found in two locations in Santiago de Chile.
