La kombucha

Kombucha tea or also called kombucha is obtained through a process of fermentation of tea and a sugar produced by a scoby (a symbiotic colony of yeasts and bacteria). The symbiosis of yeast and bacteria will consume the added sweetener, generating probiotics.

As the Veda Kombucha team explained to Provecho, to recognize a good kombucha you must have “A good balance between acidity and fruity flavor”.

“The acidity must be half a product of fermentation and the flavor of the fruit must be perceived from the first sip. In addition, it must have a controlled gasification when frozen, which is its correct conservation “they explain.

In recent years, the consumption of kombucha has been increasing, especially in Peru. If there are two companies that sell this drink, there are currently more than eight brands. This is due to the fact that it has functional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

A good option for cocktails

Veda Kombucha claims that this tea-based drink “It is a good option because being a naturally carbonated drink it could be taken as if it were a soda, with which you could easily combine”.

In addition, being a good mixer because it is already flavored with delicious fruits, we give new experiences to our preparations.

It is low in calories, low in sugar, does not have any type of chemical additive, it is 100% Natural and with properties that benefit our body”, They affirm.

The flavor of kombucha is mild and thanks to its various combinations of fruit flavors with herbs make this drink a perfect replacement for sugary soft drinks.
