He easily won a third term. Without too much surprise, Paul Molac, outgoing deputy of the 4th constituency of Morbihan (Ploërmel), was elected this Sunday evening after the second round of the legislative elections. With 73.4% of the vote, the regionalist deputy swept the candidate Together! Rozenn Guegan.
Five years ago, Paul Molac was re-elected in the first round with the investiture of La République en Marche. He presented himself this time without a label after having left the LREM group in the National Assembly in 2018 to create, with other deputies, the group Libertés et Territoires.
Elsewhere in Morbihan, it was Anne Le Hénanff, candidate for the presidential majority, who won in the first constituency (Vannes). Coming quite well ahead in the first round, she won with 57.8% of the vote against the representative of Nupes Luc Foucault.
