Summary. Nupes is in crisis and cannot recover. From disparate views on Europe to the divisive figure of Jean-Luc Mélenchon and polemical statements about the war in Israel, the divergent positions of each fuel divisions between the four political parties that make up this intergroup: LFI, PS, EELV and PCF. For leader Insumi, the “point of no return” has been passed.
However, Jean-Luc Mélenchon had great hopes for this alliance of the left.
