Legislature: Several writers, including the most recent winner of the Prix Goncourt, are calling for PH to be “blocked.”

They intend to “block” the launch vehicle. The latest Goncourt Prize winner Jean-Baptiste Andrea and other writers launched a petition on Monday calling on people to vote “against the far right” during snap legislative elections.

“We, the actresses and actors of the book world, call on everyone who recognizes themselves in these values to mobilize and resolutely raise their voice against the far right,” we read in this petition. “On June 30 and July 7, we call for voting and blocking the National Rally,” write the authors and editors.

Frank Tillier, Jules, Francoise Nissen…

Detective novelist Frank Tillier finds himself next to 99-year-old Madeleine Riffaud, a former resistance fighter, or even comic book authors such as Catherine Meurisse, Jules, Louison or Jean-David Morvan.

In the publishing world, Sophie de Closet (Flammarion), Charlotte and Laura Gallimard (Madrigall), former culture minister Françoise Nyssen (Actes Sud) and Jean-Luc Fromental (Denoël Graphic) are also among the first to sign the document. “We want to be able to continue to offer works in complete freedom, regardless of their origin, conveying a wide variety of thoughts and discourses,” they write.
