Atlético Grau’s coach referred to the match against Alianza Lima: “It was a very difficult debut against the current champion”

Atlético Grau took a point in his visit to Alianza Lima on the first date of Liga 1 2022. The technical director of the Piuran club, Gustavo Álvarez, was calm about the performance of his players. This was stated in a press conference.

“It was a very difficult debut against a deserved champion and that led to a presentation to match. I think it was achieved out of the result. Grau was a competitive team and the analysis leaves me alone”, he pointed out before the GOLPERÚ cameras.

In the same way, the coach hopes to increase the level of the team. “The challenge is permanent growth and in each game to be better. Next Sunday we hope to see a better version. We will try to continue growing”, he added.

It is important to mention that Atlético Grau has been reinforced with goalkeeper Raúl Fernández, defenders Daniel Franco, Elsar Rodas, Jeremy Rostaing. While Anthony Osorio and Argentine Rodrigo Salinas stand out in the attack, it was precisely the latter who scored the goal against Alianza Lima.
