PSG beat the Real Madrid in the first leg of the round of 16 Champions League for the minimum difference thanks to a great annotation of Kylian Mbappe. Given this, the program ‘El Chiringuito’ was on the outskirts of the Parque de los Príncipes to collect opinions from fans of the match. As expected, Mbappé was the most praised. However, the highlight was the harsh criticism of Lionel Messi.

Panelist Edu Aguirre was in France and asked about Lionel Messi. After missing a penalty, the Argentine was criticized by PSG fans. He received different comments: “He hasn’t done well”, “It’s like a zero, it seems as if he hadn’t played”, among others.

A masterful game by Kylian Mbappé found the prize in the last play of added time, scoring the winning goal for Paris Saint-Germain in the Parc des Princes against Real Madrid (1-0) who resisted thanks to the goalkeeper’s saves Belgian Thibaut Courtois, who stopped a penalty against Argentine Leo Messi.

The tie will be decided on March 9 at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium after a first installment in which PSG found the reward for its superiority in the last play of the match, after 22 shots, eight on target. Until then Courtois had been key in a one-on-one with Mbappé in the first act and showing off against a Messi penalty in the 61st minute.

Real Madrid extended their little offensive production (just one goal in their last four games), hardly creating any danger, with three shots and none on the rival’s goal. Carlo Ancelotti will lose two important players for the second leg, the Frenchman Ferland Mendy and the Brazilian Casemiro, who were booked.
