Attentive, Real Madrid and City: the millionaire and tremendous figure to sign Erling Haaland

There are a few weeks to go until the activity of the clubs in the European leagues stops. In fact, there are teams that fight for the title, to reach international tournaments and also to stay in their divisions. In the midst of it, there is already talk of signings for the 2022-23 season and there is talk, above all, of what Erling Haaland’s next destination will be.

The Borussia Dortmund striker is one of the most desired players by different entities on the European continent. And although the Norwegian has a contract with the German team until June 30, 2024, the option that he is transferred is not ruled out. Attentive to this are Real Madrid and Manchester City, already labeled as suitors.

A future operation for Haaland, however, is not an easy one. On Tuesday night, the renowned journalist from El Chiringuito, Josep Pedrerol, announced the figures that would be used to obtain the services of the 21-year-old athlete.

In total, hiring the lanky footballer would cost 200 million euros, which would be divided into 100 million for the transfer itself, 50 for the agent Mino Raiola and 50 for Haaland’s father. Out of it, there would be the salary of the Norwegian star: 50 million.

Haaland’s clause

The Bild newspaper, a few days ago, provided the details that should be taken into account by those interested in acquiring the gunner’s services. According to the German outlet, the value of the clause is 75 million euros and, to pay that amount, the deadline is April 30 (although Marca indicates that the limit is the end of the season). After that day, conditions change.

For Haaland’s present, it is possible that Borussia Dortmund will request a higher figure to free Erling. Of course, even from the club they recognize him, the footballer has his future in another entity. In fact, BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke admitted last month about the limit to resolve the case: “Maybe a month, maybe six weeks”.
