A first for them. The Cannet volleyball players won the title of champions of France by correcting Mulhouse 3 victories to 0 in the final, winning the third round in Alsatian soil on Saturday evening 3 sets to 1 (21-25, 25-16, 26-24, 25- 18).
Le Cannet, reinforced by the arrival of the sharp Cuban Heidy Casanova at the beginning of March, achieved the perfect season, since the players of Lorenzo Micelli finished the regular season at the top of the standings with only three defeats in twenty-six matches.
They also won the Coupe de France five weeks ago by beating neighbors Cannes three sets to one (25-12, 25-19, 19-25, 25-23) in the final.
The good after the failures in 2015 and 2017
