Gianluca Lapadula spoke after scoring Benevento’s triumphant goal: “A fundamental victory”

Gianluca Lapadula became the hero of Benevento by scoring the winning goal (1-0) against Ascoli for the quarterfinals of Italy’s Liguilla B promotion. The attacker of the Peruvian team scored his second goal in a row since his return to the starting lineup of his team.

After the victory, the “Bambino” expressed his joy through a publication on his official Instagram account. “A fundamental victory to get closer to our goal! Keep it up! Come on, ‘Witch’!”wrote the footballer.

Users, including fans of the ‘Blanquirroja’ congratulated for this victory. Likewise, the Italian club joined these greetings and called Gianluca with a new nickname: “That’s it, ‘Bomber'”

After passing the quarterfinals, ‘Lapagol’ and his teammates will return to action next Tuesday, May 17, starting at 1:30 pm (Peruvian time). The rival will be Pisa, third classified in the general table of the contest. The ‘Brujos’, due to their position in the standings, will start the local key at the Comunale Ciro Vigorito stadium.

Unlike the first round of the playoffs to go up to Series A, where a single match was played, in this new instance, the duels will be under the round trip system. That said, the rematch between Benevento and Pisa will take place on Saturday May 21 from 11:00 am (Peruvian time) in the Arena Garibaldi colossus.

Lapadula also thinks about the playoff

Gianluca Lapadula is the main offensive card of the squad led by Ricardo Gareca that will face the United Arab Emirates or Australia on June 13 at 1 pm (Peruvian time) at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Qatar for the playoff.
