The 26-year-old Colombian was notified of the charge for the crime of “sexual abuse with carnal access” by the prosecutor Vanesa González, from the town of Lomas de Zamora, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, where the case was filed. case.

For some days now, Villa has been banned from approaching the woman, whose identity has been kept secret.

This week, relatives of the young woman gave testimony, as did one of her friends. Photos and exchanges of telephone messages with the soccer player were presented to the prosecutors to be taken into account as evidence of the abuse.

In addition to this case, Villa has been facing a case of gender-based violence since 2020 as a result of a complaint from her partner at the time, the Colombian Daniela Cortés, for physical and psychological abuse.

The new complaint refers to events that allegedly occurred on June 26, 2021. According to the young woman in her lawsuit, that day the soccer player, while intoxicated, attacked her on the way back from a dinner at a friend’s house.

“Once the sexual submission was over, I began to cry uncontrollably and begged him to let me go, to which he told me that he could not withdraw until I calmed down,” he stated in his letter.

The next day, the woman was treated at a public hospital in Buenos Aires where she was recommended to file a complaint, which she refused out of fear, according to her lawyer. The complainant also assured that the soccer player tried to bribe her with 5,000 dollars to prevent her from denouncing him.
