New call for strike on RER B on France-Denmark day

They put it back. RATP trade union organizations have launched a new strike call on the RER B for Friday, the day of the France-Denmark football match at the Stade de France. A first strike took place on Saturday, the day of the very chaotic Champions League final.

The RATP only operates the southern part of the RER B. From the Gare du Nord, it is the SNCF that manages the line towards Saint-Denis and the Stade de France. The disturbances could therefore be concentrated only on the southern section.

A premium of 1,500 euros claimed

For the unions, which denounce in particular the understaffing among drivers and demand a bonus of 1,500 euros in recognition of their involvement during the pandemic, we must “not let our guard down and remain mobilized over time”.

Unlike Saturday’s movement, Force Ouvrière has not joined the movement at this stage. A question of form, according to Jean-Christophe Delprat, Federal Secretary FO Transport for whom “the colleagues will join the action: we are fighting for better use of the RER for users”.
