FPF visited La Masía, FC Barcelona’s high-performance sports center

Within the infrastructure improvement project for soccer institutions in Peru, members of the Board of Directors and officials of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF)taking advantage of his stay in Barcelona prior to the playoff Qatar 2022paid a visit to the facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper, officially called ‘La Masía-Centre de Formació Oriol Tort’ of the club FC Barcelona.

The delegation that participated was made up of Luis Duarte, second vice president of the FPF; Arturo Ríos, FPF Director; Víctor Villavicencio, General Manager of the Professional Soccer League; Elkin Sotelo, Communications and Institutional Affairs Manager; Raúl Sifuentes, FPF Press Office; received valuable information from the Director of La Masía, Mike Puig.

These visits are expected to help improve the infrastructure of professional clubs and different sports venues hand in hand with the national government. For now, Peru will host the Under 17 World Cup, where high-level logistics must be shown to continue hosting major events.
