Shooting in Texas: they carry out the funeral of Annabell Rodríguez, 10 years old

Annabell Rodriguez “was a sweet little girl whose favorite color was blue, especially in butterflies,” says her obituary. The 10-year-old standout student enjoyed watching videos on TikTok and loved spending time with her two sisters.

Annabell is one of 19 children killed in the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24, along with two teachers. Her funeral was on Wednesday. Funeral services for the victims will continue until the end of June.

the cousin of annabelJacklyn Cazares was her best friend. The two girls and three others were part of a quintet of friends. All five died in the shooting.

“Our lives will never be the same without you,” the aunt, Letty Hernandez, said in a Facebook message the day after the massacre.

Another aunt, Polly Flores, wrote: “My pretty angels. At least they’re fair, But our hearts are broken into a million pieces. We love them”.
