Marcelo, the player with the most titles in the history of Real Madrid, says goodbye to the white club and, in a publication on his social networks, he assured that he will do so “with a smile drawn on the face” and that he is ready to live on Monday in the Madrid sports city “a day full of emotions”.

Marcelo is counting down the hours to enjoy a farewell to the height of his successful career at Real Madrid, accompanied by his family, in a tribute that will include the club’s president, Florentino Pérez, and other personalities.

“Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. will be my farewell ceremony for Real Madrid in Valdebebas. It is going to be a day full of emotions, but there is no other way to close this stage of my life than with a smile on my face and a heart full of love and pride”wrote the Brazilian soccer player on his social networks.

“Thank you all for your support. With all my heart, I will always be a madridista”added Marcelo, who at 35 years of age puts an end to his long spell at Real Madrid due to the club’s decision not to renew his contract.

“Real Madrid announces that on Monday, June 13, at 1:00 p.m., an institutional act of homage and farewell to our captain Marcelo will take place at Real Madrid City, with the presence of our president Florentino Pérez”the club announced about the player who has won 25 titles in fifteen years at Chamartín.

Later, the Brazilian left-back will appear before the media in the press room in his last conference as a Real Madrid player. Along with all the emotions that he will live in an act surrounded by his family, Marcelo will contribute data to his next step, with proposals outside of Spain before retiring from the pitch.
