Carlos Zambrano is motivated ahead of the momentous match against Australia. A few hours after the playoff, the Peruvian national team footballer received a surprise from his loved ones, as he showed through his social networks.

In one of his stories on his Instagram account, the defender uploaded an image in which he appears next to several cards and a red box with a bow. “The best gift from my family”wrote the ‘León’ who is emerging as a starter against the ‘Socceroos’.

Instantly, the image went viral on social networks and users took the opportunity to send messages of encouragement to the defender. “Let’s fight for the classification!”, “Come on, Carlos!”, “Leave it all on the field!” either “Up, Peru”were some of the words of the fans.

Zambrano joined the training sessions of the Peruvian national team after winning the Professional League Cup with Boca Juniors. During the course of the season, the footballer has played 10 games and contributed with an assist.
