It’s official, Téf is indeed back on the front of the stage! Renowned for having an innovative and often very secondary communication unit, Toulouse FC has just proved to us that, on this point, the club has not changed since its relegation to Ligue 2 two years ago. When posting the 2022-2023 season calendar on Twitter, the TFC creatives added small “emojis” in front of the names of their opponents, some of which may make a little noise.
A fish in front of the Lorient Hake logo, a champagne cork in front of that of Reims, so far nothing really new. But in front of that of PSG and OM? A Footix, the mascot of the 98 World Cup which is used today to designate those who do not know much about football and/or who tend to support the somewhat “hip” clubs of the moment.

Nantes and the unwhistled hand
The people of Nantes were also entitled to their little personalized chambering, with a hand in front of their logo, to recall the L1/L2 barrage last year against the Canaries, marred by a refereeing error (a hand in the surface of Nantes Charles Traoré not whistled in the return match) which cost them the rise in Ligue 1. After such a fanfare return to the elite, we hope that karma does not turn against them. As we know, social networks have a long memory and we trust the Parisian, Marseille and Nantes supporters to bring it out to them in Toulouse’s first defeat against their club.
